This weekend was ClubLoose’s Freedom Moves, a two-day party with some drifting thrown in to commemorate 9/11. Click more for tons of coverage from the whole weekend!
The driver’s meeting on Saturday morning was held in Sneaky Pete’s, the track-side bar sitting right next to the infamous Englishtown bank. Matt Petty is probably making fun of you in this photo.
Literally, track-side. Although it looks beautiful in this photo, Saturday was hit with a windy storm, but that didn’t stop anyone from going hard.
Ryan Tuerck was out to do some hooning with the rest of the Drift Alliance…
…Including Vaughn Gittin Jr. and Chris Forsberg. ClubLoose is where these guys practice their proximity.
In fact, most of the tandem drivers are trying to get as close as possible, just for the fun of it. Jay Cyr in his purple S13 clearly wants Josh Lowell and I to get a bit closer.
Troy Manners has been ripping all season, from ClubLoose events to XDC, and it shows.
Missile parties are the best kind of parties. Note the tire tread flying off Tony Angelo‘s SC.
Brad Hettinger came out with his Mad-Croc S14, and was shredding Falkens like it was nothing.
Geoff Stoneback was out in his SIKKY/Kenda Tire S14 to have a good time with everyone and touch some doors…
…And he was getting pretty close to everyone.
His Team Hosehead teammate Tanner Munson brought both of his LS-powered S13’s, but was more keep to destroy his competition coupe.
The hairpin right in front of the bleachers is where everyone stacks up tight and bumps panels, and these two never disappoint.
John Marley’s beautiful S14 has finally been caged, so he dove head first into some tandem action.
Obviously, body panels and kits don’t last long at ClubLoose.
Drift Alliance missile train, featuring Tony Angelo, Ryan Tuerck, Chris Forsberg, Evan Tuerck, and Josh Lowell. Getting these shots is equally as fun as it is terrifying.
One of the best parts about two-day events is the night driving on Saturday night. Here’s John Wagner ready to attack…
…And attack he did!
Sadly the night driving was cut short because of a pretty serious wreck on the first corner. The driver, known to everyone as Corby, hopped right out and was fine.
Sunday brought more of the same crazy tandem action.
Formula D rookie Nick D’Alessio got in on the missle car madness as well.
After two long days of tire smoke, smashing quarter panels, and ridiculous partying, even Tony Angelo’s pup Panic was beat.
