GRASSROOTS ISN’T DEAD YET: SPIRIT PEAKS OPEN DRIFT DEC. 9th

Guest Blogger

Hi! I’m Austin and I can’t thank OMGDrift enough for this opportunity! I’ve never done anything like this so bear with me while I learn to write out events!

Out in the middle of nowhere tucked back on an old two lane road near the Oregon border in Washington lies a new track called Spirit Peaks Raceway. Let me tell you what, they solidly prove that grassroots hasn’t died. With maybe six or seven drivers and a crowd no bigger than twenty, everyone there had the time of their lives. The drifting never stopped and neither did the tire changes!

Steven Redd came out to test the new Nameless Performance S13 for his debut into drifting from rally next season, competing in ProAm up at Evergreen Speedway next season! I had the opportunity to hop in the car and go a couple laps with him and had the time of my life, that is one quick 240. I can’t wait to see where he goes with this!

Another gentleman I met there was Bryan Stewin. He drove the living piss out his car and that track. He can definitely throw down. When he learns to tandem I think he could be one good candidate to run up the ranks of Formula Drift.

I can’t wait to get out there again and see what more this new track has to offer!
