Hello, and welcome to my first blog for 2013, with thanks to media partner OMGDRIFT.COM. It is great to be back on board with TeamOMG again this season
Firstly it was time to get some new team OMGDRIFT stickers fitted up on the car, by Martin and Aideen, from Martin Cunningham Photography, when we landed for Saturday evenings pro practice session, at Round 1 of the all new IDC, Irish Drift Chmpionships, which was held at Mondello Park, Co. Kildare.

First off apologies for the delay in getting this blog up. Last weekend saw the first ever IDC, Irish Drift Championship, round in Mondello. IDC is basically Prodrift renamed. Most of the staff are still in place, rules and regulations are pretty much all the same. What an event to start off a new series with, great weather for the most part, great driving and just a general sense of excitement.

Recently Chris Brady asked me to come and video him teaching his partner Emma Saunders how to drift. This is the first episode of her learning just that. Initially Emma is just out learning a few basic car control techniques. In the next episode Chris will be teaching her some basic drifting techniques like initiation, clipping points and so on. Sit back and enjoy Emma ringing the neck of an E36 M3. Personally, I was really impressed with her and her attitude inside and outside the car. It is going to be really interesting to see how she gets on in the episodes to come so stay tuned to OMGdrift for future episodes!

Hey fellow drifters! I hope you’re all well! My apologies for my lateness, the final event of the year was pretty short for me, so I was waiting for the proposed Prodrift night time exhibition/prize giving round to squeeze them both into one supreme blog-o-rama. But the exhibition was cancelled, so instead let’s just have a better look at the traditionally-awesome Prodrift final, which was held at the Japfest festival at our national (and usually cold) race track, Mondello Park.

The Final round ever of ProDrift took place in Ireland last weekend and it would have been rude of me to miss it. This has been the only drifting event I have been able to attend this year and to be honest I didn’t realise how much I actually missed everyone involved. I wont talk too much about the ins and outs of the day as Martin Cunningham will give you the full low down with his report. In the meantime sit back and enjoy my only drift edit of the year

Hello again.
Well, where to begin with this latest blog from Prodrift Round 4 at Tullyroan Oval, Co. Tyrone.
During the week prior to this round, I changed my rear differential, and gave the car a general check over as well. With these few jobs done, and the car fully cleaned up and polished. I was all set for the long trip up north for the weekend. We got the van and jeep all loaded up with spare parts, fuel and spare rims and tires. For this trip the crew were Danny, Nathan and my brother Gavin.

First off sorry for the delay in getting this post out. Now that’s out of the way. What a weekend round 4 was. It was Prodrift’s first run on an oval since May 2008. There was a lot of talk about how would the drivers that had never been on an oval handle the track. There was nothing to worry about, they were well able for it. Usually I start my report on Sunday with the pros. This time I’m starting with a few shots from the amateur and semi pro top 32. Why I hear you ask, well simple really it was a night event which doesn’t happen here.
