Since I took up photography four years ago, there has been one track that I have wanted to shoot at more than any other. I constantly saw amazing photos from my friends and hoped that I would one day get the opportunity to check it out myself. That track is Pat’s Acres Racing Complex in Canby, Oregon, and a few weeks ago I finally had the chance to see what it was all about thanks to Team Tanoshimu’s Summer Jam!
As I only was able to attend for one day, I tried to fit in as much as I could. This wasn’t too hard though because driving was practically nonstop throughout the day.
PARC was everything I expected it to be, so green and beautiful with a variety of elevation changes. In addition to those aspects, what sets PARC apart from other tracks is the amount of freedom allowed for media, giving us the chance to get more angles and closer to cars than we typically would.
Even though I was recovering from a cold, the trip to PARC was well worth it. I honestly cannot wait to go back!
